Acting

Theatre

I have been a professional actress since I graduated from RADA in 2004.

I work in theatre, radio, tv, and film.

I have spent six seasons at Shakespeare's Globe, where roles have included Jaquenetta in Love’s Labour’s Lost and Iras in Anthony and Cleopatra as well as roles in new writing productions such as In Extremis, Doctor Scroggy’s War, and The Heresy of Love. Nothing beats the feeling of stepping out onto the Globe stage for the first time!

I have also appeared at The National Theatre (Comedy of Errors, The Children of the Sun) and in many of the UK’s leading theatres including Manchester Royal Exchange, Bath Theatre Royal, Theatr Clwyd, and The Young Vic. I've toured nationally and internationally but now that I'm a mum I choose to work mostly near home (Cardiff).

Some of my more unusual theatre jobs include Mission Control for National Theatre of Wales and HiJinx Theatre, a largely devised promenade production that took over Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, and Are We Nearly There Yet at Wilton’s Music Hall, a verbatim piece exploring pilgrimage which used recorded delivery.

Welsh Language

I am a Welsh learner (Currently studying at Uwch level 3) and have recently started acting in Welsh.  I play Julie in micro drama Enfys, a co-production between Theatr Gendlaethol Cymru and BBC Fyw.  You can watch it here.
