Poetry for Children

In Autumn 2020, needing an outlet when the theatres were all closed, I took a creative writing course and discovered the immense fun that is children's poetry. My poems for children have since been published in a range of websites, magazines and books. My debut collection Fresh will be published by Firefly Press on 9th April 2026. All 55 poems have been ilIustrated by Chris Riddell OBE. I also share my poems on my YouTube channel

I mostly write for Primary School children. I write a lot about nature, well being, and food!

Fresh, my debut collection, contains 55 poems exploring everything from cat fleas to cloud gazing. There are poems about being left out, loss, and worry alongside light hearted poems about messy monsters and seagulls that steal your ice cream. It's suitable for children age 7+ and I hope that it can be enjoyed in both classrooms and at home.
