Over the moon!

I'm so pleased to have two poems in 'SPACE - Royal Observatory Greenwich Poetry Book' from Macmillan Children's Books. The anthology, edited by Gaby Morgan, celebrates the 350th anniversary of the Royal Observatory.

The collection is really varied, and while most of the poems come from a wide range of contemporary poets (such as Kate Wakeling, Nikita Gill, Rachel Piercy and Pie Corbett) there are also classics from writers like Yeats, Wordsworth and William Blake. As a fairly new writer, it still feels completely thrilling to see my name in the index alongside people that I studied at school! I wish I could tell 15 year old me, working hard on her English Literature GCSEs at Olchfa Comprehensive, that one day I'd be in a book with the poets I was reading.
